Set the blanket timer for 30 or 45 minutes to control the length of heat. The blanket has an automatic shut-off once the set time has elapsed. This is a safety feature that helps to avoid a drained battery if it was left on.

Set the timer, then plug the blanket into a 12 volt auto socket. A red LED light tells you the unit is turned on. Use the 'reset' button to start the time over once the blanket has turned off.
