How does it work? Easy.

Why is this so special?
Unlike other alert systems that call your contacts one after the other,
this allows you to call any name or number in any order.
For example: if you have an emergency instead of waiting for
the system to cycle through your contacts to reach 911
you can simply say '911' and it will dial directly to 911

A. The battery in the pendant is a rechargeable battery. Under normal use it should last several months. There is a backup rechargeable battery that is always charging in the base system..
Q. Can I use more than 1 pendant or wall communicator on this system?
A. Yes, you can use up to 4 pendants or wall communicators on one base unit. Extra pendants and wall communicators can be purchased separately at any time.
Q. What if my neighbor gets one, will my pendant or communicator set their system off?
A. Not unless you want it to. Each pendant or communicator is 'paired' to a base unit. This means that you can use the pendant or communicator with just your system or you can use it with your neighbor's system, the choice is yours.
Q. Can I take it to a different location?
A. Yes, take it to a new location at any time. It will retain the telephone numbers that you have programmed into it even if the batteries are removed.
Q. Will it work in Canada or other countries?
A. It will work in Canada. Countries other than Canada may require an electrical adapter and a telephone jack adapter to connect to the power and the phone line.
Q. Will it call and work with cell phones?
A. Yes. Just program the cell phone number into the system the same way that you would if you were calling the cell phone number directly from the phone line.
Q. What if I do not have a home phone or a "land line"? Can I use a cell phone to call out with this system?
A. Yes, there are Bluetooth adapters available if your cell phone has a Bluetooth connection. You must have a handset to program unit.
Q. How do I check that the battery is OK and the pendant is connected to a phone line?
A. Just press the gray button on the back of the pendant to check the battery and the pendant connection at any time. See the video above.
Q. What if you want to call a phone number that is not in your directory?
A. Just say the phone number when the voice prompt asks who you would like to call.
Q. How does the Voice Module work?
A. When the Voice Module detects a dial tone you hear the voice prompt "Name to Dial Please", then you simply speak the name or number you wish to call.

Great product for my elderly 89 year-old father with blindness. This gives him the ability to stay in touch which was not possible when he had to manually dial the numbers. now he can stay intouch with just one button. I gave this handsfree dialer to my aunt who recently had a stroke and is unable to use one hand. In addition she has macular degeneration which limits her eyesight drastically. This has enabled her to be independent and socialize on the phone. Extremely easy to set-up and once set-up, nothing else to do except say the name into the phone for it to do the dialing for you. Purchased this item for our mom who was 92. It worked great-we loaded over 35 phone #'s and it worked very well dialing for her. At the time she had lost most of her sight to ARMD. Its easy to set up (but not for the 'oldest' non techie elderly!) and make changes to the list of numbers. The only difficulty over the past 3 years was when her voice became 'thready' due to a cold. As long as the voice activating the dialer is fairly strong and consistent, you will have no problem. This really is a great tool for those who have limited vision. --- - Unknown
