The activation page says “Too Many Tries — Try Again Later” or “Seems Like You Need Assistance.”
This message appears after the SIM ID and activation code do not match during five activation attempts.
Wait approximately five minutes before trying again. Carefully verify the SIM ID and activation code before resubmitting them.
I successfully activated the SIM and received my telephone number. What should I do next?
Your next step is to schedule an onboarding call with an ATS Technical Advisor. During the call, we will review your account and help you learn how to use the device.
I did not receive a telephone number when I tried to activate my SIM.
When the SIM ID and activation code are correct, the activation system will attempt to activate the SIM card. This can take up to five minutes when the network is busy and may take longer during a temporary network issue.
Return to the activation screen and try again. If you have confirmed that the SIM ID and activation code are correct but still do not receive a number, contact ATS support and have your SIM ID available.
I received a telephone number, but calling it gives a busy signal or the device does not ring.
It can take up to ten minutes for a newly assigned telephone number to register on the cellular network.
Turn the device off, wait two minutes, and turn it back on. After the device restarts, wait another two minutes for it to connect to the cellular network. Then try calling the assigned telephone number again after the full ten-minute registration period.
I activated the SIM but forgot to write down the assigned telephone number.
ATS has the assigned number and can provide it during your onboarding call.
You may also return to the activation page and enter the same SIM ID and activation code again. This will not reactivate or change the SIM. When the information is entered correctly, the assigned telephone number will be displayed again.
After receiving your telephone number
Turn the device off and back on so it can connect to the cellular towers. Allow approximately two minutes after restarting before testing the device.
