I wanted something like this for a long while, and my sister in law gifted us one for housewarming. We are nearing 4 years living in our new home, and I have yet to change the batteries one time. It works perfectly fine, does exactly what you want it to do. Good enough that I bought a second one (this is actually a review on the 2nd one, but drawing on my experience from the first, too, as they're the same model). Worth buying. Easy enough to install, and it comes with all you technically need to do so (you may need a wrench).

I have bought 5 of these over the last 5 years, and I am ordering another today.
These fantacstic little devices fit all types of faucets (I use them in the kitchen and bath)& allow germ-free hand washing while saving water.
As other writers have commented, these do have a finite lifespan. People with hard water will find they wear out faster. But, compare the cost to the competition. These are around 1/6 of the cost of the nearest competitor, and are easy-peasy to install, if you follow the directions.
The manufacturer is great with customer support. Often they can effect a repair over the phone. If not, just have your receipt and they will honor their warranty. No, they do not last forever. But they are a great product if your expectations are reasonable for the price.
