Some basic problems calling 911 from a cell phone include:
1. Cell phones are not always readily available. They may be in a purse or not easily reachable. SkyAngelSport™ is a small wearable device ensuring easy access when needed.
2. Cell phones may be outside your particular carrier's service area and not able to call 911. SkyAngelSport™ will use all available carriers to ensure your call reaches 911.
3. To call 911 on a cell phone requires opening the phone or swiping the phone to activate the dialing sequence. This is a multi-step process that takes valuable time. Contacting 911 on the SkyAngelSport™ is as simple as pressing 1 button.
"Can I try it and cancel if I am not satisfied?"

Easy! The SkyAngelSport™ device doesn’t require any setup on your part. We perform quality checks and take great care in preparing it for use. The only thing you need to do with the device is make sure it’s charged and turned on.
"Can I wear it in the shower?"
Yes, the SkyAngelSport™ model can be worn in the shower, it is totally waterproof for up to 30 minutes totally submerged under water.
"Can I use it in Canada?"
Yes, the SkyAngelSport™ will work in the U.S., Canada and any country where 911 is an emergency cellular number.
"How Accurate is GPS?"
This unit has the most accurate GPS location services available today. The precision that 911 will be able to locate the unit can range from several feet to hundreds of feet based on the technology used by your local 911 center. This unit has full two-way voice communication and that should be the primary method to direct assistance to the user. 911 call centers all have varying policy on responding to calls when the user does not speak. If you are unable to speak and tell 911 your location they may not automatically send help. 911 Uses triangulation to determine your location, not GPS. Contact your local 911 center to inquire about their policy on non-verbal hang up calls if you are unable to speak.
"Is there a warranty?"
Yes, there is a 1 year full warranty on all of the equipment. If there are any problems in the first year we will replace the part or the entire system.

79 years old, with several health conditions: Because it is comfortable, I wear it every day. I tested it once in the place I was most likely to fall (bottom of the stairs). It worked just fine with the drop motion. I will test it in a month in the kitchen to make sure appliances don’t block the signal. I’ll update this post then. And I always put it on the floor in the bathroom where I can reach it if I fall out of the shower. No, I don’t sleep with it, but it is on the headboard where I can reach it if I need it, and the blinking light on it tells me where it is in the dark.Update: Been wearing this for six months now. Test it monthly. Charge it every other night. Funny story: I was at the children’s museum, earthquake exhibit, jumping up and down on platform to see how strong and earthquake we could produce. I am an active 87 year old-live alone, garden, drive, etc. My home is pre-war solid brick in a densely treed area, which creates problems for all WiFi. Before this unit, I had a monitored service with a 30$ monthly fee. The reps were unable to answer any of my questions When I purchased this alert, I had problems with it notifying 911. The rep always returned my calls, answered all my questions, sent several external antennas and then a new unit. I test it monthly at home, inside and out, and in my car. It works every time, everywhere. It is sensitive to movements that jolt it. My police department has my house key, so EMS can enter if I fall at home alone. I love my SkyAngel!
