Q. Does this unit require WI-FI or internet?
A. No it does not.
Q. Can I have more than one receiver?
A. Yes, one button can activate two receivers.
Q. What is the range?
A. The buttons can alert the receiver up to 600 ft.
Q. Are the buttons waterproof?
A. Yes. The buttons have an IP65 rating. Meaning they can been worn in the shower but cannot be submerged into water.
Q. Can I set the receiver to vibrate?
A. No. You can set the receiver to Flashing Light and Sound, Flashing Light only, or Sound Only.
Q. Can the caregiver and the patient talk through the alert system?
A. No.
Q. What type of batteries are used?
A. The receiver will use(3) AAA batteries (not included) and each transmitter will use (1) CR2023 battery (included).

Mother in Law uses the call button from where she lives in the basement. I have had no problems monitoring from anywhere in the house, from outside in the yard, or in the attached garage (where I work). The alarm is loud and definitely can be heard. Hung one call button around her neck and attached the other to her bed post. I'm impressed -- Walter S.

This was a great purchase for me and for my mother. It works so well and she is able to alert me if she needs me for anything whether she is upstairs and I am downstairs or in the middle of the night. Many different alarm style alerts from annoying to really get your attention to pretty music to just let you know you're needed. The "life alert" type alarm buttons are great for people on their own and have an emergency, but this works really well for caregivers so that they don't have to always have to be in the same room in order to be there when needed for just the every day needs of their patient/loved one.
